The Pavilion Room is located in the Pavilion building at the Queen Elizabeth II Playing Field on Ashton Lane. It’s a light and airy room, warm in the winter with a view across the field towards the Welsh hills, has car parking, loads of outdoor space and access to the safe and well designed play aera for children. There is indoor seating as well as an under cover outdoor patio area.

The Pavilion Room is available to hire to benefit the members of the local community of Ashton Hayes, but has also hosted many successful events. These include annual fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as Community Events such as Christmas or Jubilee, Coronation and Dday-80 and twice a year is an ideal location for hosting the Community Clear Up activity. After many years of operating as a weekend fundraising café our team of volunteers now make use of the space for a range of fundraising activities.

The Pavilion Cafe

For many years a team of amazing fundraising volunteers ran a Cafe in the Pavilion, bringing in much welcome income. From Autumn 2024 the main focus for use of the Pavilion Room changed to a space which can be more widely used by individuals, the community or local businesses for social gatherings or meetings.

The Cafe now operates on a pop-up fundraising basis.
