There are some important changes coming to household recycling.

At the moment Plastic film packaging and plastic bags cannot be recycled at home.  They must be taken to local supermarkets for recycling.

However, from 31 March 2027 all  Plastic film packaging and plastic bags will be collected with your plastic recycling at home.
