Plastic Free Home | Our Supporters | Tips for Residents | News

If you are a resident:

  • join the steering group – email us
  • and have a comment, suggestion, or idea? – email us
  • reduce the amount of single use plastic you use
  • join our community clean up events (twice yearly) – join the mailing list  There are free cakes and drinks afterwards!
  • recycle soft plastics that cannot currently be recycled at home by taking them to your local supermarket:

Plastic films, plastic bags and wrapping, flexible plastics – whatever you call them; bread bags, frozen food bags, crisp packets or pet food pouches, loo roll wrap or chocolate wrappers.  Put a bag or box by your recycling, pop them in there rather than in the bin.
